CRB Big Island Treatment

Palm Injections & Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Protection

Protect your Big Island palms with local CRB treatment from Coconut Beetle Solutions. The Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle have already been established in the Waikoloa Area since 2023 and more recently near the Kona Airport. CRB is not slowing down and will continue to spread FAST on Big Island.

We offer palm injections and targeted protection for homes, resorts, hotels, HOAs, and other commercial properties.

TREATMENT before INFESTATION is KEY.

Coconut Beetle Solutions provides targeted CRB treatment services island-wide. Specifically,  palm injections that are scientifically designed and proven to protect valuable trees and stop CRB damage before it gets worse.
If you are seeing palm decline, V-cuts in fronds, early action matters. With CRB activity already documented on the Big Island, especially in the Kona area, early treatment matters for both residential and commercial landscapes.

Who We Work With

Homeowners, resorts, HOAs, farms, and commercial properties that need practical treatment and clear guidance.
Our goal is simple: deliver local CRB treatment that helps keep your palms healthy and your property protected.

Injection-Based Protection

For many properties, systemic injections are one of the most effective ways to protect palms from coconut rhinoceros beetle pressure.
This method helps deliver protection directly into the tree, making it a strong option for palms that are difficult to reach, near water, or part of high-value landscapes.
Our goal is to help property owners stay ahead of CRB with treatment plans that are practical, local, and built around the needs of your property.

Why Big Island Customers Call Us

Big Island property owners want a provider who understands local conditions, from windward rain to Kona’s dry side and the spread patterns of CRB across different elevations. Our approach is practical and localized: inspection, habitat reduction, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring tailored to the property and island conditions.
That means faster recognition of problem areas and a clearer plan for protecting palms before damage becomes severe.

What To Look For

Look for crown damage, smooth V-shaped cuts in emerging fronds, bore holes near the crown, and grubs in rotting logs or mulch piles.
Adults are large black beetles, about 1.5 to 2 inches long, with a prominent horn, and they are usually more active at night.
If you suspect CRB, send photos and request service right away so the infestation can be assessed before it spreads.
